Currently U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman in New York, who originally said he would comply with the law, has refused to provide a status report on the Lawyers’ Petition.
More distressing, at the highest level of authority U.S. Attorney General William Barr on
April 3, 2020 asked the judge overseeing the Lawyers’ lawsuit to Dismiss it claiming, “they have no standing.”
